Ciao a tutte! Come forse saprete, e se non lo sapevate ancora adesso non avete scuse, Kiko ha lanciato una nuova linea di smalti ad asciugatura rapida. Ci sarebbe da commentare questa novità in lungo e in largo ma non sono qua a far polemica quindi vi accenno solo le differenze sostanziali. Bottiglietta tonda invece che quadrata. 10ml invece che 11ml. 4,90€ invece che 3,90€ (esatto, costa di più e ce n’è di meno). Alcuni colori nuovi e alcuni gli stessi riproposti in versione quick drying. E tutti gli altri smalti sono in promo a 1,50€. Voi cosa pensereste? Perchè io penso che i vecchi colori andranno a sparire per lasciare spazio alla sola linea nuova. Cmq come dicevo non sono qua a far polemica. Sono stata in negozio per dare un’occhiata ai saldi e ho visto i nuovi smalti di persona e ho ceduto a un colore che mi è subito sembrano inusuale e molto bello. Si tratta del n. 834 Tiffany dorato. Quelle che vedete sono due passate senza top coat. | Hi everyone! You might or might now know that Kiko released a new range of quick drying nail polishes. There would be a lot to ramble about this news but I’m not here to argue and I’ll just tell you which are the most obvious changes. Round bottles vs square. 10ml vs 11ml. Retail price 4,90€ vs 3,90€. Less content and higher price. Hm. Some colours are the same of the standard range, some are new. And old polishes are now all on sale at 1,50€. What would you think? Me, I think they’re gonna discontinue the old range and will keep the new one only. Anyway, not here to argue. I was in Kiko shop yesterday to check the sales and I had the chance to check the new colours and I really liked one and it came home with me. It’s #834 Golden Tiffany. E’ bellissimo, no? Purtroppo non posso dire la stessa cosa della qualità dello smalto. Ho fatto molta fatica a stenderlo, è denso e viscoso. Di solito io metto il colore in due pennellate, una per ciascun lato dell’unghia. Il Kiko 834 però si comporta come il peggiore holo: quando stendete il secondo lato vi portate via il primo. Il risultato non è uniforme e nemmeno si autolivella lasciando chiazze più spesse e più fini sull’unghia. Qua sotto sull’indice vedete una bel fosso (perchè quello è), mentre sul mignolo c’è un buco di colore, o di scolorimento che dir si voglia. | Really pretty, isn’t it? It’s not self-levelling either and it leaves bald spots. Next you’ll see what I mean. |
Insomma, l’unica nota positiva è che è lucidissimo e non ha certo bisogno del top coat da quel punto di vista. Asciuga anche in fretta, certo non 60 secondi! Che dire? Quando si ha qualcosa che va già bene non si dovrebbe sentire nessun bisogno di cambiare. | So, only good thing about Kiko 834 is that it’s super glossy and it dries quickly (well, not 60 seconds as stated). What can I say? When you have some good stuff you wouldn’t need to mess with it. |
