Today’s post will be of little interest to you International readers but you might still like having a look at two gorgeous oranges. After all it’s pumpkin season!
I have a comparison between two Italian polishes, Faby Keep on the Sunny Side and TNS Life in Colour. Faby and TNS Cosmetics were new to me brands this year, but I fell in love with both immediately. I can easily say they have been my top 2 favourite Italian brands this year.
They both released pretty oranges this summer and after swatching both I thought they were extremely similar and decided to do a quick comparison.
On two nails I have the Faby, on the other two I have the TNS. Two coats each. Can you guess which nails have which polish?

Oggi ho messo velocemente a confronto due smalti italianissimi. E arancioni, dopotutto è tempo di zucche, no?!
Gli smalti di cui parlo sono Faby Keep on the Sunny Side e TNS Life in Colour. Faby e TNS Cosmetics per me sono state nuove scoperte del 2015 e sono rimasta entustiasta di entrambi i brand. Posso dire senza difficoltà che sono i miei marchi italiani preferiti dell’anno.
Quest’estate hanno lanciato entrambi uno smalto arancione nella collezione estiva e dopo averli indossati entrambi ho notato che sono molto simili e mi è venuto in mente di metterli uno vicino all’altro.
Su due unghie ho il Faby, su due ho il TNS. Di ognuno due passate. Indovinate quali unghie sono dipinte con quale smalto?
Truth is I made a note where I wrote down what nails I painted with Faby Keep on the Sunny Side and what I painted with TNS Life in Colour. And then I lost the note! And I have no idea what nail is which polish because they are 100% identical.
Formula is also very similar so I can’t really pick a favourite from that point of view either. I guess it just depends on what is available to you and what you prefer for a brush. Brushes are extremely different! TNS rounded thin brush is a favourite of mine to be honest. But I also must say my toenails have a straight nail bed so for my pedis I prefer the Faby brush.
La verità è che mi ero fatta un bigliettino dove avevo scritto su che unghie avevo messo il Faby Keep on the Sunny Side e su quali il TNS Life in Colour. Ovviamente l’ho perso! Ora non ho idea di quali unghie siano quale smalto perchè 1) non mi ricordo, 2) sono identici al 100%.
Anche dal punto di vista di qualità e stesura sono davvero simili. Dunque direi che la scelta dipende da cosa trovate più facilmente, o da che pennello vi piace di più. Sì, perchè il pennello è molto diverso! Quello di TNS è uno dei miei preferiti di sempre, piatto e rotondo. Però devo dire che preferisco il pennello Faby per le unghie dei piedi, che hanno la base dritta e non tonda.
