Hi guys! Some weeks ago I showed you a Shaka haul and today I wanna talk you about one of those products. I had found a restock of Shaka holo collection and Violet suddenly looked strange. That was not what I own! I bought it and once back I asked my friends how their bottle of Shaka holo Violet looks like. Same as mine, not like the one I had just bought! So I started taking pics for them and dang, another surprise! The new colour is less holo! | Ciao a tutti! Qualche settimana fa vi ho fatto intravedere i miei acquisti Shaka e oggi voglio entrare più nel dettaglio riguardo a uno di loro. In OVS ho ritrovato tutta la collezione olografica riassortita ma il Violet mi ha subito insospettita, non era il colore che avevo io! L’ho comprato e tornata a casa ho chiesto alle mie compari come fosse la loro boccetta di Shaka holo Violet e come immaginavo era come la mia, non come quella appena comprata! Mi son quindi messa a fare le foto per loro e ta-dan! Altra sorpresa: ‘sto nuovo colore mi pare meno olografico… |
Same day as Valentina (who was a better blogger and posted immediately) I decided to paint my nails with both to check if the sparkle was indeed different. Well yes: new Shaka holo Violet (2013) is a scattered holo and no longer linear like the 2012 version. I hate when brands change a product leaving the same name and number! Plus the new Shaka holo Violet applies like a linear holo (goes better with an aqua base etc) but has no rainbow to make up for the mess. That’s such a shame because I like the new colour itself. Ring: Shaka holo Violet 2012 Rest: Shaka holo Violet 2013 | In contemporanea con Valentina (che è stata più brava di me e ve lo ha già fatto vedere) mi son dunque decisa a metterli su unghie per capire se davvero era cambiato l’effetto. Ebbene sì: il nuovo Shaka holo Violet oltre a essere un colore totalmente diverso è un holo scattered e non più linear. Odio quando le marche cambiano prodotto e lasciano lo stesso nome e numero! Tra l’altro questo smalto, purtroppo, ha gli svantaggi di un olografico lineare per la stesura, senza averne però le doti. Peccato perchè il nuovo colore mi piaceva più del primo!
