Duochrome stamping nail art with plate BP110

Oggi vi mostro una nail art veloce, creata con la tecnica dello stamping. La base è lo smalto Shaka Candy Plum, una lacca color prugna che vi mostrerò al più presto. Ho deciso di stamparci sopra con uno smalto duochrome, che all’apparenza non va affatto bene per questo scopo, ma funziona alla perfezione se invece c’è una base scura sotto. Si tratta di NYC Bronze Metal. Il dischetto è BP-110* di BornPrettyStore/Nurbesten. Come sempre ho sigillato con il top coat Essence XXXL Gel Effect.

Today I’m showing you a quick nail art that I created with the stamping technique. My base colour is Shaka Candy Plum, which is a dark plum creme. I’ll do my best to post swatches of it on its own soon. I stamped over it with a duochrome nail polish, which might not work for this technique, but actually does a great job if you have a dark colour underneath. This is NYC Bronze Metal. The plate is BP-110* from BornPrettyStore/Nurbesten. As usual I sealed it with Essence XXXL Gel Effect top coat.

Usare uno smalto così trasparente per stampare può essere complicato perchè è quasi invisibile sul tampone, a meno che non ne usiate uno scuro, però l’effetto secondo me è davvero particolare. Io poi ho un amore particolare per gli smalti che cambiano colore quindi non faccio testo.

Il dischetto arriva da Nurbesten.de, ovvero la versione tedesca di BornPrettyStore. Come potete vedere funziona benissimo, e direi che con lo smalto NYC e il disegno con linee così sottili l’ho davvero messo alla prova! Per me non stanno sbagliando un colpo coi prodotti a marchio loro.

Using such a sheer nail polish to stamp is quite tricky because you basically see nothing on the stamper unless you are using a dark one. However I really love the final outcome. Well, I love anything duochrome so my opinion doesn’t really count.

The stamping plate comes from Nurbesten.de which is the German version of BornPrettyStore. As you can see it works perfectly. I used both a sheer polish and a fine lines pattern and it passed the stress-test I’d say! I love BornPretty branded items, they are so good.
