Oggi nel giorno di Halloween vi mostro un bellissimo smalto viola, che purtroppo ha un grosso difetto: la durata.
Appena ho visto Claire’s Metallic Purple in negozio me ne sono innamorata, l’ho comprato e poi l’ho lasciato lì per un po’, scoraggiata dal “Metallic” nel nome. Infine gli ho dato una chance e l’ho finalmente indossato. Un viola meraviglioso, con riflessi magenta e azzurri che gli danno tantissima profondità. La stesura è semplice, non tanto coprente alla prima passata ma perfetto alla seconda. Ma il giorno dopo averlo steso era già rovinato sulle punte. Neanche 24 ore. Non scherziamo.

Today I’m celebrating (not really) Halloween with a gorgeous purple nail polish, which has a big flaw: lasting time.
As soon as I put my eyes on Claire’s Metallic Purple in the shop I fell in love with it, I bought it and then I let it in its drawer for a long while, fearing the “Metallic” finish. In the end its turn came and I wore it. A gorgeous purple with magenta and blue shimmer that give it more depth. Applicaton is easy, it’s not very opaque in one coat but gets perfect at the second one. But the day after wearing it my nails were badly chipped. Not even 24 hours after application. Are we kidding?
Two coats, no top coat.
Non è bellissimo? Peccato per la qualità davvero pessima. E’ praticamente utilizzabile solo per occasioni speciali, e di breve durata!

Isn’t it gorgeous? It’s such a shame that it’s really poor quality. You can basically use it for special (and short) occasions only!
