Bornpretty liquid palisade review

Oggi vi recensisco la Liquid Palisade* di BornPrettyStore. Di cosa si tratta? E’ un prodotto che si applica attorno alle unghie quando si fanno delle nail art che sporcano le dita, per proteggerle ed evitare di dover usare l’acetone per pulire l’eccesso di smalto. La versione della liquid palisade di bornpretty è contenuta in una boccetta di smalto, ha una consistenza liquida e si stende col pennello tutto attorno all’unghia. Per vedere dove si sta applicando è stata colorata, in questo caso di blu. Una volta stesa si lascia asciugare, stando attenti a non unire le dita perchè in quel caso farà da collante e dovrete ricominciare. L’asciugatura è veramente rapida, e potete passare praticamente subito alla vostra nail art, che sia uno sfumato o una stampa o qualsiasi altra cosa vi venga in mente, tranne le water marble suppongo!

Qui vedete come l’ho stesa attorno alle unghie, ho proseguito con la stampa, e l’ho rimossa. E’ rimasto dello smalto argento nella parte bassa, quello preferisco toglierlo passando un pezzetto di nastro adesivo, ma nulla vieta di spalmarvi di liquid palisade fino ai polsi! In ogni caso vedete che la parte più problematica, ovvero il giro cuticole, è rimasta perfettamente pulita.

Today I am reviewing Bornprettystore’s Liquid Palisade*. What is it? It’s a product that you apply all around your nails when you are doing nail arts to protect your fingers and to avoid cleaning up with acetone. Bornpretty’s liquid palisade comes in a nail polish bottle, it’s quite watery and you just brush it where needed. It comes in a blue colour to see where you are putting it. It dries quickly on the skin, you just need not to touch your fingers or it will glue them together and you’d need to start over. It dries super quick and you can start your nail art right away. You can use for gradients, stamping, anything except water marble I guess?

Here you can see I brushed it around my nails, stamped and took it off. I have some silver nail polish left on my fingers, I prefer using tape to remove that, but you can just apply more liquid palisade! Anyway you can see that the trickiest part to clean, which is the cuticle area, is perfectly clean.

Posso dirvi in tutta onestà che per lo stamping non la userò più, perchè mi viene molto più veloce usare lo scotch premuto sulla pelle “modello ceretta”. Per le sfumature invece è stato una vera scoperta! Mai più senza! Invece di dover ripulire tutto con litri di acetone e mille cotton fioc metto la palisade, lo smalto in eccesso rimane tutto lì sopra e lo tolgo quando ho finito. Che comodità! Davvero un prodotto di cui non farò più senza, ne sono veramente molto soddisfatta.

Per informazione, ho anche provato a usarlo come base peel-off sotto uno smalto glitter. Se lo smalto non è molto coprente il blu della palisade va a cambiare il colore del glitter. Oltre a questo la durata è davvero minima, poche ore, forse una serata fuori, ma non va bene come base duratura. La rimozione invece è tutta in discesa! Basta spingere dalle cuticole e viene via come se non avesse nemmeno mai aderito alle unghie.

Avevate mai sentito parlare di liquid palisade? E avevate già provato un prodotto del genere di qualsiasi marca?

I can honestly tell you I won’t use it any longer for stamping. I find adhesive tape so much faster for that. I just press it on my skin and remove it like I would do with wax and I’m good to go. For gradients on the other side it was a game changer! I love it and I love not having to use gallons of acetone and dozens q-tips to clean up excess nail polish. Now it just sticks on the palisade, I remove it and I’m all done, so quick and easy. A must have accessory from now on, I am so happy with it.

For info, I also tried using the liquid palisade as a peel-off base coat under a glitter nail polish. If the shade is not opaque enough the blue colour of the palisade will change the colour above. Other than that lasting time is minimal, only a few hours or a night out. Removal is a dream though! You just push it from the base and it un-sticks from the nail, that’s phenomenal.
