Well I guess light blue for Earth is because of water? I don’t question! In August my brother and his girlfriend travelled through Sri Lanka and they brought me back a local polish that fits today’s challenge perfectly. This is Alka Club no name-no number, a stinky light blue metallic polish. Fortunately the smell goes away once on the nails. It was super easy to paint with, not thin at all but also not thick. And extremely bright. Lovely if I can say so!

Suppongo che azzurro per la Terra sia il colore dell’acqua. Ma non faccio domande! In Agosto mio fratello e morosa hanno fatto un viaggio in Sri Lanka e mi hanno portato uno smaltino locale che è perfetto per l’appuntamento di oggi. Questo è Alka Club, nessun nome e nessun numero, un azzurro metallico che fa una puzza terribile. Che per fortuna scompare sulle unghie. Molto facile da stendere, non ha una formula leggera ma neanche particolarmente densa. E’ davvero luminoso come smalto, ammetto che mi è piaciuto tantissimo!
But I obviously had to tweak it, right? I wanted to use the same colour but have a different finish knock off. My pick to achieve that look was NYC Blue L.ita and I decided to diagonally paint my tips with it. I must say that it was very appropriate for a baby boy’s Christening!

Bello sì, ma ovviamente dovevo ritoccarlo! Avevo in mente un tono su tono con due finish diversi. Ho scelto il NYC Blue L.ita e l’ho steso in una specie di French diagonale. Perfetto per il battesimo di un maschietto!
But I have no such event in my agenda. Anytime soon.That means I could further play with it! And lately I feel the need to use rhinestones like.. always! I went for black to have a bold colour over these light tones. Black rhinestones and striping tape. Oh yeah, I love this mani if I can say that to myself!

Io però di battesimi in programma non ne ho quindi potevo divertirmi ancora, giusto? E ultimamente ho un po’ la fissa degli strass… Ho optato per il nero per avere un colore forte che spiccasse sull’azzurro. Strass e nastro da nail art. Oh sì, mi piace tantissimo com’è uscita alla fine!
