Today I am showing you a nail polish that hides a little secret.
I purchased Sinful Colors Cream Pink because it shows some golden shimmer in the bottle despite its name. And you know, I can never resist golden shimmer! Application was easy and coverage is quite good with two coats. If you have longer nails you might do three though. That golden shimmer is not as visible as in the bottle but it doesn’t disappear completely either. Drying time is really quick.
So what’s that secret I was mentioning? Sinful Colors Cream Pink is a satin/semi-matte nail polish! I was so surprised when it started drying to this finish. I love it but it’s not that popular. Plus nothing on the bottle said it had special finish of some sort.

Oggi vi mostro uno smalto che nasconde una piccola sorpresa.
Ho comprato Sinful Colors Cream Pink perchè, a dispetto del nome, nella boccetta si notava un evidente luccichio dorato a cui non so mai resistere. La stesura è stata semplice e con due passate si ottiene una buona coprenza (se siete pignole o avete le unghie lunghe meglio tre). Il luccichio dorato non è visibile come in boccetta, ma nemmeno sparisce del tutto. L’asciugatura è davvero rapida.
Ma qual’è la sorpresa? Sinful Colors Cream Pink è uno smalto satinato/semi-matte! Sono rimasta a bocca aperta quando ha iniziato ad asciugarsi con questo finish, che amo molto, ma che non è così comune. Inoltre niente indicava che questo fosse uno smalto dal finish semi-opaco.

I added top coat for my last photo hoping the golden shimmer would show more. It actually almost disappeared making the shade change a little, too. I can’t say I bother because I really loved it semi matte.
What do you think of it? Do you usually like opaque or semi opaque nail polish?

Nell’ultima foto ho aggiunto un top coat sperando che quella venatura dorata si vedesse di più, invece mi sembra che sia peggio. Di conseguenza anche il colore cambia leggermente. Non posso dire che mi dispiaccia dato nella sua versione “naturale” è davvero bello!
Cosa ne pensate? Vi piacciono in generale gli smalti opachi e semi opachi?
