While I was shopping last Saturday I realized Sinful Shine nail polish range arrived to Italy! I was so excited when I stumbled upon the display, I immediately checked if the most popular shades were there. And they were! I obviously couldn’t resist and I purchased two bottles + the matching top coat. I can already say the first time using that top coat was a no-no.
Anyway, let’s get to the first shade I purchased! It’s Sinful Shine Alfresco, the perfect sky blue creme I would say. I can totally see why this colour is so popular among bloggers and non-bloggers. It’s so pretty. Formula is good, it reminds me of the Catrice ICONails range. It’s watery but easy to apply. You need three coats for perfect coverage. It self levels perfectly and you get a perfect look at the end. I think it’s a little slow drying and using the matching top coat made it worse honestly. I woke up with sheet marks on almost all of my nails. I suggest a fast drying top coat and I’ll use that myself next time.

Se mi seguite su Facebook forse avete visto la foto che ho pubblicato sabato: ho trovato la linea di smalti Sinful Shine in Italia, da Pittarosso per la precisione. Non avevo idea che fosse arrivata anche da noi e sono rimasta davvero sorpresa. Come resistere? Ho letto un milione di post su questi smalti, specie su due colori che ho visto praticamente su tutti i nail blog americani.Secondo voi non ho controllato che ci fossero nel display? Ovvio, come è ovvio che quando li ho trovati li ho presi entrambi, assieme allo speciale top coat che alla prima prova mi sembra una ciofeca.
Ma veniamo al primo di questi smalti! Si tratta di Sinful Shine Alfresco, un meraviglioso azzurro cielo. Dopo aver visto la boccetta di persona, e averlo steso poi sulle unghie, ho capito perchè questa tonalità è così popolare. E’ davvero bellissima. La formulazione è buona, mi ricorda un po’ i nuovi Catrice, ovvero liquida ma semplice da stendere. Per avere una coprenza perfetta servono tre passate di colore. Devo anche aggiungere che lo smalto si autolivella molto bene sulle unghie quindi l’effetto finale è bello preciso e uniforme. I tempi di asciugatura per me sono stati la nota dolente, ci ha messo un po’, e l’aver aggiunto il top coat abbinato non ha aiutato per niente. Il giorno dopo avevo i segni delle lenzuola su quasi tutte le unghie. Avrei dovuto usare un top coat ad asciugatura rapida, e vi consiglio di farlo nel caso troviate e acquistiate questo smalto.
In foto: tre passate. In alcune foto c’è il top coat, in altre no. Sinceramente non ricordo nemmeno io quali sono e non riesco a trovare differenza di lucidità tra con e senza.
I can definitely recommend this shade! It lived up to its expectations for sure. I am so happy with my purchase. Only thing I can tell you, again, is to use a fast drying top coat.

Consigliato? Sì, assolutamente sì! Il colore è bellissimo, sono veramente contenta di averlo comprato. L’unico accorgimento come dicevo sopra è di usare un top coat ad asciugatura rapida. Per info, l’ho pagato 3,90€ da Pittarosso.
Avevate mai sentito nominare gli smalti Sinful Shine? E vi piace Alfresco?
