Anny Surf the Wave

Hi everyone!

Today I am showing you a nail polish by German brand Anny Cosmetics, which is sold exclusively at Douglas drugstores all around Europe as far as I know.

This brand is quite expensive (around 12€ per bottle) and I can't remember why I choose this particular nail polish as it's not really my cup of tea.

Meet Anny Surf the Wave (no. 378), an aquamarine blue with a pearly-frosty finish. Application is really easy which is kinda expected from such a pricey polish. Coverage is fantastic especially if you think it's quite a light shade. It's almost opaque at first coat! The finish is the bad part. When it comes to frosts and metallics it's almost impossible to avoid visible brushstrokes and it's not different this time. Drying time is not fast either, and the finish is not really glossy. I helped myself with a top coat for both speeding up the drying time and make my nails glossy.

Photos: two coats plus top coat.

I really like the colour and the quality. However I hate the brushstrokes. I actually covered it right away with a nail art because I couldn't stand them.

How do you like it?
