I will be honest I totally forgot it was that day a month when my friends and I show you beauties from the past. I didn’t want to skip it though so I had a look in my vault to see if I had anything that I could use. Turns up I have a lot of Essence swatches that I’ve never posted because for some reason I only have a decent photo of each. That’s why I decided to combine them all together today!

Devo essere onesta: mi ero dimenticata che oggi è il giorno del nostro appuntamento settimanale con gli smalti “d’altri tempi” ç_ç Però non volevo saltare quindi mi son messa a cercare negli archivi se avevo qualcosa di utilizzabile. In effetti ho trovato parecchie foto di smalti Essence mai finiti sul blog perchè mi era rimasta una sola foto decente di ognuno. Ho deciso quindi di riunirli per il post di oggi!

First up is Essence Lilac Is My Style from the Snow Jam limited edition. It’s a super pretty shimmery purple. I’ve never understood why it was part of a winter collection though, it doesn’t look that much wintery to me.
Il primo è Essence Lilac Is My Style della collezione Snow Jam. Si tratta di un color lampone shimmer molto carino, ma ancora non capisco cosa ci facesse in una collezione invernale. Per me non è poi così tanto invernale insomma.

Second it’s Essence Cotton Candy from the Circus Circus limited edition, and it’s the standard bright pink creme. I have no swatches of the glitter side for some reason. I loved that collection and picked up all the available duos.
Come secondo abbiamo l’Essence Cotton Candy della collezione Circus Circus, il classico laccato rosa barbie. Purtroppo non ho foto della parte glitter, in ogni caso questa collezione mi era piaciuta così tanto che avevo comprato tutti i duo.

Then we have Essence Cookie Love, a tan shade with both golden flakes and golden shimmer. This kind of shades is really hard to wear as it can give you lobster hands. Anyway it was discontinued last year I believe.
Qui abbiamo Essence Cookie Love, un beige shimmer con piccole particelle flakies. E’ un colore davvero difficile da portare perchè rischia di fare a pugni con la carnagione facendovi sembrare le mani color aragosta. Se non erro è stato tolto di mezzo l’anno scorso.

Last we have the oldest shade of them all. Once again a bright bubblegum pink creme and it’s Essence Very Berry. Very Berry is my go-to pink for nail arts. Its formula is amazeballs and it’s a pleasure to work with! Too bad it was discontinued because it’s pure perfection, although the colour is nothing you can’t find elsewhere.
Infine lo smalto più vecchio. Ancora una volta un classico laccato rosa acceso e in particolare l’Essence Very Berry. Il Very Berry è il rosa che uso per tutte le mie nail art. La sua formulazione era perfetta ed è un piacere usarlo. Mi rendo conto però che è un colore che trovate in qualsiasi altra marca.
