Lady Lya Effetto Gel 901

Hi everyone!

Not too long ago I showed you Lady Lya Forever Mat 2614 and yesterday I used yet another polish from this Italian brand in my HPB mani.

This gorgeous red is Lady Lya 901 from the Gel Effect collection. This time I have to admit the gel promise is definitely delivered! It’s been a while since I’ve used such a shiny polish!

Formula is quite dense, but not thick, it goes smooth on the nails and it’s almost a one coater, although you really want to use two to get the perfect coverage.

These are two coats without top coat.

Qualche settimana fa vi ho parlato dello smalto Lady Lya Forever Mat 2614 e ieri ho di nuovo usato questa marca per la mia nail art HPB.

Questo splendida lacca rossa è Lady Lya 901 della serie Effetto Gel. Questa volta devo dire che la promessa dell'effetto gel è mantenuta! Era un po' che non usavo uno smalto così lucido!

La formulazione di questo smalto è densa, ma facile da stendere. E' praticamente coprente in una passata, ma ne consiglio due per essere perfetto.

Queste sono due passate senza top coat.

I also had the chance to test the special Gel Effect top coat n. 881. This top coat is obviously designed to be used with Lady Lya gel effect nail polishes. In the bottle it looks like a blue-ish jelly so I was kinda curious to see if it would change the polish colour or enhance the already amazing shine.

E' incredibilmente lucido, non vi pare?

Ho anche avuto la possibilità di testare il top coat speciale di questa linea, che è numerato 881. Si presenta coma una gelatina azzurro polvere quindi ero curiosa di capire se avrebbe cambiato colore allo smalto sotto, e se ne avrebbe aumentato la lucidità.

A voi il giudizio!

I don’t think it changed the base colour nor that it made it shinier to be honest. It might help the duration though, which I honestly haven’t effectively tested.

I must add that the top coat dries quite slow though and it got me a couple sheet marks the morning after.

Non mi sembra proprio che abbia cambiato il colore originale dello smalto, nè che lo abbia reso più lucido ad essere onesti. Però forse ne aumenta la durata, cosa che non ho testato al massimo.

Devo aggiungere che il top coat asciuga lento e la mattina dopo mi sono trovata con un paio di unghie coi segni delle lenzuola :(

Last pic was shot on day 3 and you can see that the nail polish is still perfect and even the tip wrapping is intact!

What can I say? This Lady Lya Gel Effect nail polish really impressed me and I hope I can buy more!

L'ultima foto è stata fatta il terzo giorno, e come vedete lo smalto è ancora perfetto, persino le punte sono intatte!

Che dire? Questo smalto Lady Lya mi ha davvero colpita e spero di trovare un espositore di questa linea per poterne comprare altri!
